T-Bone Bay – Western Australia
Welcome to T-Bone Bay — the kind of spot that’s not on many maps, but every WA local with a 4WD and a wind addiction knows exactly where it is. Tucked along the Coral Coast, this little crescent of white sand and reef-sheltered blue is as off-grid as it is rewarding.
The SE to S seabreeze kicks in most afternoons, funnelling cross to cross-on into the bay. On the right tide — typically mid pushing high — you’ll find silky flat water inside the curve and a few fun bumps out back for freeride and small wave play. It’s clean, consistent, and usually uncrowded, just the way we like it.
The beach is narrow on high tide and peppered with shells and coral fragments, so launch with care. Intermediate and advanced riders only — there’s reef close in, and not much help if things go sideways. Booties aren’t essential, but they’re appreciated if you're trekking gear back over the hot sand and sharp bits.
No signage, no café, no Insta hotspot — just you, the wind, and the kind of quiet that reminds you why you ride.
