South Australia – Sheringa Beach
Welcome to Sheringa — a wide open beach break on the wild west coast of the Eyre Peninsula. Raw, remote, and wrapped in dunes, this spot is for riders chasing power, space, and proper down-the-line energy.
Works best on S to SW winds, giving you cross-on to onshore conditions with plenty of room to move. A mid-depth reef offshore helps clean up the swell, smoothing things out and setting up nice fat waves that roll in ripe for carving, boosting, or just cruising down the line.
Access is via Sheringa Beach Road. No facilities, no water, just bush camping behind the dunes and a short walk to the ocean.
Beginner friendly on mellow days, but this place earns respect when the swell’s up. Keep an eye on rips and shifting banks — and bring everything you need.
