Sebas – Mandurah, WA

Welcome to Sebas — not just a wooden giant in the dunes, but a quiet estuary gem tucked near Wannanup, just south of Mandurah. It’s a local favourite for flatwater sessions, grassy rigging, and clean lines without the coastal chaos.

The spot shines when the SE to S seabreezes start pumping — cross to cross-on, steady, and reliable through the afternoon. Deep enough on most tides, the estuary delivers smooth conditions for freestyle, foil, or chilled freeride. Easy launch, no shore break, and space to stretch out.

Easterlies? They're technically onshore and rideable — especially for morning foils or warm-up laps — but tend to be gusty and inconsistent, thanks to the land fetch.

SW winds? Not ideal here. That’s an offshore direction, which means gusty, turbulent air and a big safety risk if something goes wrong. Give it a miss unless you’ve got a chase boat (and a backup plan).

Beginner-friendly on lighter days, but best enjoyed when it’s humming in that classic WA 15–20 knot range. No ego, no crowds — just you, the wind, and the occasional nod from Seba in the dunes.
