Victoria – Queenscliff

Welcome to Queenscliff — tucked into the edge of Port Phillip where wind, tide, and space all come together… quietly. It’s not a headline spot, but if you know the setup, you can score some buttery flat sessions away from the crowds.

The main beach is a no-go — flagged, family-friendly, and tucked too far inside to get decent wind. But Swan Bay, just around the bend, is where the magic happens. Works best on N, NW, NE, W, and SW winds — clean, consistent, and made for wings, windsurfing, and smooth flatwater kiting.

It’s a shallow spot, so bring the right gear and watch the tide. When it’s on, it’s proper fast and glassy — ideal for dialing in your skills or just cruising stress-free.

Heads up though — there’s a military base nearby. Stay well clear of restricted zones, and if you’re not sure where they are, ask a local or check the charts. The last thing you want is a session cut short by a patrol boat.

No amenities, no rescue — just open bay, wind, and water. Queenscliff’s not loud, but it’s low-key solid when you want to escape the circus and glide in peace.
