Point Quobba – WA
Remote and wild, Point Quobba sits 75 km north of Carnarvon and offers powerful, clean SW winds for those chasing solitude and serious conditions. Not a popular kite spot — but when it’s on, it’s raw and unforgettable.
Best on a solid SW seabreeze. SSW works but brings gusts and land effect. Anything west or light is risky — you’re fully exposed out here.
Rocky launch only. No soft beach, no safety net. You’re straight into reefy water with surge and chop. Mid to high tide is safest. Low tide = gear wrecking terrain.
Strictly for advanced riders with full backup. No signal, no rescue, no room for mistakes. But if you’re ready? It’s WA at its wildest.
