Oyster Stacks – WA
Located inside the Ningaloo Marine Park near Exmouth, Oyster Stacks is a no-go zone for kiting — and for good reason. This area is strictly protected for snorkeling and coral reef conservation. Launching or landing a kite here isn’t just frowned upon — it’s illegal.
Crystal-clear water, thriving coral, and stacks of marine life make it epic for underwater exploring, but absolutely off-limits for any wind sports.
Closest kiteable spots? Head south to Sandy Bay or Graveyards — both are well-known, kiter-friendly, and still inside the Exmouth wind belt.
Bottom line: Bring your mask, not your kite. Respect the park rules and help keep one of WA’s most beautiful reef zones thriving.
