Milyering – WA

Milyering sits quietly inside Cape Range National Park, just off the Ningaloo Reef, and falls within one of the most environmentally sensitive areas on the coast. While the shallow turquoise water and reef flats look ideal for a kite session, kitesurfing is not permitted here due to strict conservation zoning.

This stretch of coastline is protected for its coral habitat, marine life, and untouched natural state. Activities are limited to low-impact recreation like snorkeling, kayaking, and beach walking.

There are no facilities, no designated launch zones, and no leeway in the park rules. It’s a place for stillness, not speed.

Looking to ride nearby? Head just south to Sandy Bay — it’s one of the best kite spots in the Exmouth region and fully kiter-friendly. For waves, Graveyards is your go-to.

Bottom line: Milyering is for quiet exploration, not kites. Respect the zoning, and help preserve one of WA’s most pristine coastal sanctuaries.
