South Australia – Long Beach (Lings Road Access), Robe
Welcome to Long Beach — the Limestone Coast’s silky white highway to stoke. This place doesn’t just go on forever, it is forever when the wind’s right. Park up at Lings Road, slide into your harness, and take your pick: waves, wind, or wide-open lines.
SSE to SW winds bring cross-shore bliss, steady enough to hold a kite high while you carve tracks down the glassy face of endless peelers. On a good day, it’s butter between the banks and kickers that lift like they’ve been waiting for you. The ramp’s mellow, the vibe’s local, and there’s more space here than your legs will know what to do with.
4WD onto the sand if you're keen, but check the tide and don’t be that guy getting towed out. The third ramp is usually the go. Once you're out there, it’s you, the wind, and the southern ocean's breath in your ears.
