Cancellation and Refund Policy
At Rapture, we understand that life’s plans can change as swiftly as the wind, and we aim to be as fair and flexible as possible. Please take a moment to read through our policy to ensure smooth sailing for everyone involved.
Payment Policy
All lessons must be paid in full at the time of booking. Once booked, lessons are non-refundable. However, lesson credits may be transferred to store credit on a case-by-case basis, depending on individual circumstances.
Cancelling Your Booking
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Jason via email adrift@rapture.zone between 7 AM and 7 PM. If He is unable to answer your call, simply leave a message, and he’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Lesson Cancellation and Credits
We will do our best to fill your spot if you need to cancel. If we succeed, you’ll receive a full credit for your booked lesson. If we can’t fill your spot, the following conditions apply:
Less than 3 hours before the lesson: 100% of the booking is forfeited.
Less than 6 hours before the lesson: 50% of the booking is forfeited.
Less than 12 hours before the lesson: 25% of the booking is forfeited.
More than 12 hours before the lesson: 100% of the booking is refunded as a credit.
All credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Group lessons follow the same rules, but if one person cancels and the lesson still goes ahead, they forfeit their booking fee.
For COVID-19-related border closures or sickness, a full refund (minus booking agent or merchant fees) or credit will be offered.
If you'd like to transfer your credits to someone else, give us a call, and we’ll happily sort it out for you.
Rapture’s Right to Cancel
At Rapture, your safety and enjoyment come first. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to:
Insufficient wind
Poor weather conditions
Unforeseen mechanical or equipment issues
Strong or dangerous wind conditions
If conditions are deemed unsafe, the final decision lies with the Instructor, Operations Manager, or Skipper. In such cases, a full credit will be provided for your lesson.
Important Note
To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, lessons may also be canceled or halted if:
Conditions are unsafe for participants.
The student is deemed unfit due to intoxication (in this case, no refund will be issued). So, take it easy the night before your session!
